During a workshop in the annual project week, simon busse and the Frauenhofer IPA gave students the challenge to design an object that connects to ready-mades.
The design connects a lighty formed piece of wood with an aluminium profile. The connector is optimized for 3D printing. To lighten and secure the Missing Link, little triangle cuts improve the stability and reduce the costs. The connector can be printed in 3 ways, which makes it possible to build up more-leveled shelves.
